Green Plant Waste Management Pvt. Ltd (GPWM) is a recognized Producer Responsibility Organisation (PRO) by the Central Board of Pollution Control (CPCB) and the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India. The GPWM works dedicatedly in the field of waste management, specifically plastic waste management since 2010. The GPWM is appointed by Plastic Manufacturers and Traders Association, Delhi (PMTA) with the technical guidance of the Indian Center for Plastics in the Environment (ICPE) to undertake Extended Producers Responsibility (EPR) as lay under PWM Rules 2011. 

We have come together with the municipal corporations in Gurugram, Rohtak, Faridabad (Haryana), Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Giridih, Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), Singhrauli, Bhopal (MP), Allahabad (UP), Chennai (TN), Bhiwadi, Bhilwara (Rajasthan) North Delhi Municipal Corporation, Municipal Committee Sampla, Jhajjar, Meham, Kalanaur, Dabwaliand to tackle the municipal waste products including dry household waste, wet kitchen waste, and green & horticulture waste. 

We aspire to provide our services for registration and managing EPR under PWM Rules 2016 as amended 2018. It will include collection, transportation, and recycling on the following tracks: 

  •  The channelization of plastic waste includes the collection mechanism and environmentally sound recycling of plastic waste. 
  • The engagement of collection centres and channel partners for the collection and handling of plastic waste. 
  • The Permissions or Agreements with ULBs in different zones and

states for the collection of plastic waste. 

  • The disposal of collected post-consumer & end of life cycle plastic waste and providing the documents monthly and quarterly as per the requirements under PWM Rules. 
  • The logistics agreements for transportation of collected plastic waste.
  • To provide the documents related to the collection and disposal of plastic waste as per the EPR target, required for registration second party

with CPCB as Brand Owner.

  • In assistance in setting up a yearly EPR target on the basis of past years’ consumption of plastic packaging and implementing EPR.
  • To provide an extended producer’s responsibility plan as required under PWM Rules 2016 (as amended), 2018.
  • The assistance in Registration with CPCB, implementing EPR, and in setting up a yearly EPR target on the basis of your past years’ consumption of plastic packaging.
  • In creating awareness for the masses through social media, corporate events, print, and digital marketing, awareness and collection drives, and various other initiatives regarding the collection and channelization of plastic waste.  

The organisation is conferred with the JCB Clean Earth Award for Excellence in Solid Waste Management organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Andhra Pradesh Technology Development & Promotion Centre (APTDC) and Dynamic Asia Global Award 2019 for Outstanding contribution in Decentralised Waste Management and Plastic Waste to Light Diesel Oil at Vigyan Bhawan for the excellent contributions in waste management. 

The GPWM emphasises the idea of a decentralised Solid Waste Management System with Zero Waste to landfills. The GPWM treats the Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) at the micro-level which minimises the solid waste going to the landfills. The waste products collected with the help of municipal corporations and waste collectors are segregated into wet waste and dry waste and treated accordingly.
